数词是实词，可分为基数词与序数词。

基数词

• 个位数：
  one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten
• 十位数：
  1. eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen
  2. twenty, thirty, fourty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety
  3. fifty-nine, sixty-nine, ...
• 百位数：
  1. hundred（hand -> hund，手代表力量，多；众人拾柴火焰高；cent 美分，century 世纪；一百年）
  2. one hundred and one - 101
  3. nine hundred and ninety-nine - 999（hundred 是数词，不是名词，故单词后面不用加 s）
• 四位数：
  1. thousand
  2. one thousand and one - 1001
  3. one thousand and one hundred and eleven - 1111
  4. 英语中没有表示五位数和六位数的单词，均用 thousand 表示
• 七位数：
  1. million
  2. one million and two hundred and thirty-four thousand and five hundred and sisty-seven - 1,234,567
  3. 口语为了方便有时只保留最后一个 and
  4. 英语中没有表示八位数和九位数的单词，均用 million 表示
• 十位数：
  billion

留意十位数中 13~19 均以 teen 结尾，而 teen 是由 ten（十）变换而来。另外 teenager 表示 13~19 岁的孩子；其中 age 表示年龄，而前缀 teen 用的就是十位数中 13~19 的含义。
